A Coincidence of Mistaken Identity

While making his way through crowded Pershing Square in Los Angeles, in 1949 where Ben practiced his preaching almost daily, he became aware that something was different. Quickly he mounted a bench and began speaking and a crowd of more than 300 gathered around him. Not until he stepped off the bench did he know why the crowd was so large. many reached out to Ben, and stated calling out: "Billy, we have heard about your big tent revival and that you would be speaking in the park today." The rest of the story is absolutely unforgettable.
